Washington Park Early Learning Center prides itself on being able to offer an amazing education for an affordable tuition. We use tuition for paying rent, insurance, teachers’ salaries, and benefits. Donations and fundraising activities go toward other expenses like classroom supplies, maintenance, telephone, capital improvements, and special projects.
If you would like to make a donation to WPELC, please email us at firstname.lastname@example.org. We are a non-profit 503(c)3 organization. Your cash or material donations are tax deductible. We also have an online Wish List that has items that our teachers have specifically requested to enhance our school’s learning environment.
In order to keep our tuition low, our school relies on families to contribute to the school through fundraising. All fundraising activities are coordinated through a committee of parent volunteers. WPELC Families all participate in fundraising activities throughout the year including:
Use re-loadable grocery cards connected to WPELC at King Soopers or Safeway, and our school receives $5 for every $100 spent. WPELC families spend a minimum amount on grocery cards monthly, or pay a fundraising buyout.
A Chinook Book is a coupon book chock full of local deals that will give our families and our community many ways to save, while raising money for our school. Each family will have the opportunity to sell Chinook Books.
Annual Silent Auction
Our silent auction is a fun social and fundraising event that gives families the opportunity to connect with each other in a fun environment while simultaneously building resources for the school. All families participate in securing items for the silent auction.
Shop & Dine for WPELC
Select local and national merchants partner with our school to donate a percentage of sales to WPELC. Earn money for our school by shopping for things you may buy anyway and dining out with WPELC families.
