Tuition Assistance at WPELC
Washington Park Early Learning Center sets aside a portion of our operating budget each year to help families who might find the cost of WPELC beyond their reach. We offer these funds to new or returning families and encourage all families who may benefit from financial assistance to apply. Assistance decisions are confidential. Qualification is determined on a need basis and can be granted for any partial amount up to the total tuition due.
Timing and Deadlines: Tuition Assistance Applications are due at the same time as admissions applications. Families will receive notification of financial assistance awards along with their admission decision.
Emergency Assistance Funds: In the event of a significant change in a family’s financial circumstances during the school year, families may apply for Emergency Assistance Funds to help address their needs. To learn more about this process, please contact treasurer@wpelc.org.
Tuition Credits Through the Denver Preschool Program
We are thrilled to be a part of the Denver Preschool Program (Level 4) and thus can offer our Pre-K students (age 4 by October 1 of their last preschool year before entering Kindergarten) the opportunity to apply for tuition credit.
